5 seconds to retrieve the “Show Desktop”

One that is “Show Desktop” button on the toolbar help you quickly return to desktop when the computer is open multiple windows. First to Start / Run and type “notepad” (without quotation marks), after editing window up Notepad, copy and paste the code below:

[Shell]

Command = 2

IconFile = explorer.exe, 3

[Taskbar]

Command = ToggleDesktop

Then, save the file as “Show Desktop.scf” folder to the path below:

C:\ Documents and Settings\“Username“\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

In the “Username” (words in italic) are replaced by the username that you use to log on to windows.

Now you can close the Notepad and Show Desktop icon will appear again next to the Start button on your toolbar.

Note: To open the desktop quickly when you open multiple windows, you can use shortcut Win Key + D.
