Easy backup and restore database with Sypex SQL Dumper 1.0.8b

SQL Dumper Sypex is powerful tool help webmasters can backup and restore data very fast and easy. It has only a single file but effective work is very good. Interface friendly and easy working. Setup SQL Dumper:

  1. Download Sypex SQL Dumper 1.0.8b: Link here
  2. Unrar file already downloaded and upload file dum.php to your hosting (you can create new forder to easy manager)
  3. In folder contain file dum.php, create 1 folder name is “backup” to save backup file. Remember CHMOD the folder “backup” to 775

Runing SQL Dumper:

  1. Acess SQL Dumper with link: http://yourdomain/forder_contain_file/dum.php (with forder_contain_file is folder contain file dum.php and folder backup have been created in before step)

  2. Login with username and password of database you want backup or restore.
  3. To backup database:
    backup database with syplex sql dumper

    Meaning of attributes:
    - DB    : Database name need backup (you can choose specific database  need backup by edit file dum.php, find define(‘DBNAMES’, ”); and enter database name in ”, ex: define(‘DBNAMES’, ‘wordpress’);)
    - Filter tables    : If you want backup specific table in database, you can enter table name in here and tool only backup table you choose
    -     Compression Method: Recommended choose gzip to reduce file backup storage
    - Compression Level: Recommended choose 9 (Maximum) to optimized
    After select click to Apply button to start backup process. Wait fews times…..After database backup completed, you can save backup file to your computer . If you forget can download file backup in backup folder in your hosting.

  4. To restore database:
  5. restore Easy backup and restore database with Sypex SQL Dumper 1.0.8b
    Choosing Database you want restore in DB field  and file database to restore  in File field. File database is .gz file you have get after performed backup (File database should be placed in the backup folder). Click Apply button to start restoring.
