The Eternal Ones
The mysterious society that is after these two is actually quite compelling and Miller does a good job of keeping the mystery going, you are never really sure who is a danger to Haven and who is a friend. He could be called Chaos, I suppose. So intriguing and mysterious, and dangerous!
She flip-flopped so much it was unbelievable; she couldn’t make up her mind at all and was all too eager to let other people make it up for her. I really would have liked to know more of Iain and to see more of Ethan in him too.
Kiesten her true love wasn’t that fantastic either. When I was reading about the romance, I couldn’t stop giggling!
The Eternal Ones (Eternal Ones, #1) by Kirsten Miller
Don’t get me wrong, it leaves a few things set up for the next book, but the story told in this book is resolved. She is aware of her visions being only snippets and not the full picture of her past – and despite her yearning for him, she reserves her eterns on Iain until she finds those elusive answers.
I am just downright sick and tired of reading through the same character over and over again. I’m not joking, I wanted Haven to be tortured in ways you can’t even imagine. As Haven is really sure that Adam must have something to do with Beau’s disappearance, she accepts the woman’s proposal to try to entrap Adam to get him to help her, and maybe eetrnos out what he’s done.
Haven Moore has always lived in the tiny town of Snope City, Tennessee. The only thing that forced me to give it 4 Stars instead of 5 was Haven. Mar 30, Romy rated it really liked it Shelves: I am so glad I did. But for as long as she can remember, Haven has experienced visions of a past life as a imller named Constance, whose love for a boy called Ethan ended in a fiery tragedy. Seriously, I can’t really even describe why I dislike this book so much. But that fantasy is quickly disrupted when Haven’s best friend, Beau, goes missing after he travels millfr New York to find his soul mate.
Without giving much a way, I truly loved this series. Haven is fainting again, and remembering blissful nights wrapped around Ethan. She knows that New York will give her answers. People in the town had a hard time accepting anyone that was different so he and Haven soon became best friends.
Iain Morrow and Haven Moore are supposed to be star crossed lovers, who meet time and time again. Her parents believed her, because a small child could not possibly have invented so many facts about buildings, circumstances and persons.
But, the visions came back with a vengeance when she saw wealthy playboy Iain Morrow on a gossip news show.
She is independent and smart. This was a good read filled with epic romance, a good mystery, and fun characters. Having not read the first book, I expected to be confused multiple times.
Apart from the suspense the only positive element I can point out is gay best friend Beau Becker. That would be shiny. Read this, I can’t recommend it enough!
And then, eventuallyit falls apart. View all 3 comments.
I’m also puzzled by Haven’s mother who initially acts subservient and yet a few pages later suddenly stands up to grandma and then persuades Haven to pursue the truth.
Started out with a strong likable main character named Haven and her best friend Beau. To say it’s an engaging book is an understatement. This book had me so emotionally attached to it, that I had to stop reading it at some spot As seen at Wisdom From A Teenage Bookworm http: Still not going to read the book?
Deseos (Eternos, #2) by Kirsten Miller
It’s thrilling and exciting, and, oooh, I loved it! Jan 02, Pricky sternos it it was ok Shelves: Don’t get me wrong, the Eternal Ones is well-written, but I was not sure what kkirsten time frame was in the first few pages because the words used seem to indicate a usage in a different time.
Not stellar, but average for today’s YA market. Who is strikingly similar to the Baddie in My Name is Memory. All You Desire was everything I look for in a sequel. Since everyone in the Ouroboros Society believe that Iain is dead their lives have been pretty uneventful until Haven starts seeing signs of them all throughout Rome.
