I love this book because I have lots of freckles, and I have had a lot of the same thoughts as freckle face strawberry. Peter Rabbit, I Love You. Kids tease her, ask her embarrassing questions, and give her a nickname she hates. Unfortunately, in our society, my three year old is aware of her physical differences between herself and her friends as many adults like to point this out.
This is a great book! She was kind of left out.
